The streaming platform shared the news through a playful social media video featuring Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla, who play Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes.
In the clip, Kalyn opens the door to Dean’s office and asks, “What? Miss us?”
Abdalla then joins him to confirm that Dean and Allie are officially returning for Season 2.
The video ends by revealing an April 28 sign, giving fans the date they had been waiting for.
The announcement has attracted attention because the series is returning relatively quickly after its successful first season.
For viewers who have been following Dean and Allie’s relationship, the confirmed date means they can begin counting down to the next chapter.
What Will Off Campus Season 2 Be About?
Season 2 will focus on the developing romance between Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes.
The first season introduced viewers to their connection, which began as a casual relationship but gradually became more complicated.
Their story included emotional moments, unexpected developments and relationship drama. The season finale also left viewers with questions about what would happen next.
The second season is expected to explore their relationship in greater depth.
Dean and Allie Take Centre Stage
Dean is one of Briar University’s popular hockey players, while Allie is known for her friendship with Hannah Wells.
Their relationship brings a different romantic story to the series.
Rather than continuing to focus mainly on Hannah and Garrett, the new season gives Dean and Allie the opportunity to become the central couple.
Fans can look forward to seeing how they handle their feelings, personal challenges and the pressures that come with their relationship.
Season 2 Draws Inspiration from The Score
The second season is based on The Score, the third book in Elle Kennedy’s bestselling Off-Campus series.
This is an interesting development because the television adaptation is changing the order of the book stories.
The move allows the show to explore Dean and Allie’s romance next, following the events established in Season 1.
Book readers may already know parts of their story, but the television adaptation can still bring new surprises through its casting, performances and storytelling.
Which Cast Members Are Returning for Season 2?
The new season is bringing back familiar faces from the first instalment.
The two central returning performers are:
- Mika Abdalla as Allie Hayes: Allie’s relationship with Dean will be at the heart of the new season.
- Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis: Dean returns as the hockey player whose connection with Allie becomes central to the story.
The first season also featured:
- Ella Bright as Hannah Wells.
- Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham.
The first season established the relationships and friendships that helped make the series popular.
However, the confirmed central romance for Season 2 is Dean and Allie’s story. Further casting and character details should be checked against official Prime Video announcements.
Why Are Fans Praising the Quick Return of Off Campus?
One of the biggest talking points following the announcement is how quickly the series is returning.
Season 1 premiered on May 13, 2026. According to the report, filming for Season 2 began in June and continued through September.
With the new season scheduled for April 28, 2027, the production has moved at a pace that many viewers appreciate.
Some streaming series keep audiences waiting for two or three years between seasons. This can make it difficult for viewers to maintain excitement and remember important storylines.
The relatively short gap between Off Campus seasons has therefore become a major talking point.
Fans Say Streaming Shows Should Take Notes
Viewers have shared their excitement across social media.
One fan praised the quick turnaround, saying:
“Less than a year wait between seasons… u see when job ur love everyone wins!!!”
Another wrote:
“NOT EVEN 6 MONTHS OLD AND WE ALREADY HAVE A DATE FOR SEASON 2 OFF CAMPUS THE HIT THAT YOU ARE.”
A third viewer compared the release schedule with the older television era, celebrating the fact that fans will not have to wait several years for the next season.
Another social media user also praised the production team for beginning work on Season 2 shortly after the first season aired.
The common message from fans is clear: they appreciate a streaming series that keeps its audience engaged without making them wait too long.
How Successful Was Off Campus Season 1?

According to the supplied Indy100 report, the series attracted more than 36 million views within its first 12 days.

- Hockey and university life: The series combines sports, friendship, romance and the challenges of growing up.
- An ensemble cast: The supporting characters help create a wider story beyond the main couple.

Its first-season success has created strong expectations for the next instalment.
Off Campus and Heated Rivalry Could Make April 2027 Exciting for Romance Fans
Another reason fans are looking forward to April 2027 is the possibility of another popular hockey romance returning around the same period.
Heated Rivalry, the romance series starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, is also expected to return for Season 2 in Spring 2027.
However, an exact premiere date had not been confirmed in the report.
Deadline was cited as suggesting that April was a likely release period.
This has encouraged viewers to imagine a particularly exciting month for television fans who enjoy hockey-themed romance.
One social media reaction captured the excitement:
“Off Campus, Heated Rivalry and the Stanley Cup Playoffs in April? My Super Bowl.”
Although the two series tell different stories, their potential release schedules have created a shared moment of excitement among romance and sports-drama audiences.
It is important to remember that the Heated Rivalry release date is not yet confirmed in the supplied report. April 28, 2027, is the confirmed date for Off Campus Season 2.
